Arnola was born in Caldwell, Kansas on January 27, 1930 and went to the loving arms of the Lord on April 2, 2023. Her name was a combination of her parents names, Arnold and Ola. She attended and graduated with the Caldwell High School Class of 1948.
She grew up in Caldwell on the family dairy farm where she developed a strong work ethic, a passion for gardening and a deep appreciation for all of God’s creation. Arnola had a beautiful servant’s heart and dutifully and joyfully poured her energy and talents into caring for family, friends, and God’s creatures, great and small. She had a special ability to tame anything with fur or feathers and could often be found hand feeding deer or birds perched on her shoulders, or even her special double white bushy tail that lived under her porch.
She was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt and caretaker. She gave the best bunny hugs and had the sweetest and most gentle soul. We will miss her beyond measure.
Arnola is preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Ola Mae (Jelinek) Subera, grandparents, Felix and Vlasta Mary (Lebeda) Subera, Charley and Emma (Kolarik) Jelinek; sisters, Arnetta Golden and Arleeta Marcel; nephew, Charley Johanning, great nephews, Noah Paul Johanning and John Martin Davis.
