Carl Eugene Misak was born October 28,1935 on a farm near Bluff City, KS to Louie and Agnes Misak. He attended Bluff City schools graduating from high school in 1953.
On September 4, 1955 he married Janet Mayo in the Bluff City United Methodist Church. They were blessed with three children: Ronald Eugene, Robert Eugene, and Carol Jean Misak Quinn. He was a loyal husband and loving father, grandfather and great grandfather.
An U.S. Air Force veteran, he served from 1954 to 1958 stationed at various bases around the world including Okinawa, Japan and Presque Isle Air Force Base, Maine.
After the Air Force, Carl became a structural steel draftsman working on several major building projects in the Tulsa area over the years with several companies including Allied Steel, Reilly Construction and Builder’s Construction Co.
A life-long history and western culture fan, he was a great reader particularly interested in books involving the Chisolm Trail and World War II aircraft.
He passed away October 20, 2024 at age 88 and leaves to mourn his sons Ronald (Kathleen) and Robert (Kathy), daughter Carol, five grandchildren: Aaron, Christine, Tarra, Elizabeth, and Evan, seven great grandchildren: Bayleigh, Henry, Cooper, Jolene, Thomas, Bryce, and Anthony.
Memorial graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on November 16, 2024 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Bluff City, Kansas.
