Dennis Woodrow Lile was born November 13, 1952 in Caldwell, Kansas to Woodrow and Ann Mackey Lile. He was a 1970 graduate of Caldwell High School.
Dennis was married to Debbie Kern and to this union, one son Jason Christopher was born. Dennis and his best friend for 22 years, Cynthia Conrady were united in marriage on May 10, 1993. On December 13, 1997 they were blessed with a son, Hunter Dennis.
Dennis was a self-employed carpenter for many years and also worked for the City of Caldwell for a number of years. He enjoyed wood working, crossword puzzles, and spending time with his sons. He was also an avid reader, a trait his son Hunter inherited. Each of them could read a book in two hours flat and actually remember what they had read! He also took pride in his shooting abilities and taking Hunter plinkin’.
Dennis passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Caldwell, Kansas. He is survived by sons, Jason of Oklahoma and Hunter of Caldwell, along with many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, and brother, Jerry Alexander.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 6, 2013 at the Corzine Cemetery, Corbin, Kansas.
Memorials may be given in memory of Dennis to the Hunter Lile Education Trust.
