Ora Loeva Fisher was born in Oilton, Oklahoma February 19, 1927 to Elmer and Juanita (Mills) Harmon. She grew up on a farm in Oilton, Oklahoma and graduated from Central High School, Tulsa Oklahoma in 1945.
Ora loved horses, bowling, bingo and was a great fan of the Diamond Backs and St. Louis Cardinals. She was also a “Rainbow Girl” which was associated with the Eastern Star and Masonic organizations.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Oilton, Oklahoma.
Ora’s first job was at Ohio Oil in Tulsa as a payroll clerk. She would go on to work for Kroger Co. in Wichita until 1951 as a payroll personnel clerk.
She married Porter Y. Fisher in Kansas City Missouri in 1955. They were married 62 years at the time of his death in 2017.
Ora and Porter had 3 children, Gary, Sherry and Karen; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 11, 2020 at the Schaeffer Mortuary Chapel, Caldwell, Kansas.
