Porter Y. Fisher, 87, of Mesa Arizona, died Friday, March 17, 2017 at Mesa Arizona.
He was the only child of Drexel S. and Hazel M. (Yelton) Fisher, born August 6, 1929 at Blackwell, Oklahoma.
Porter served in the U.S. Navy from 1947 until 1959. He retired in 1989 as Director of Sales for Santa Fe Railway in Kansas City, Missouri, then moved to Mesa, Arizona to enjoy his favorite pastime of golf.
He was a member of the Albert Pike Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite and Median Shrine in Wichita, Kansas as well as member of the Apache Wells Shrine Club in Mesa, Arizona.
He is survived by his wife, Ora L. “Penny” (Harmon) Fisher, a son, two daughters, six grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at the Caldwell City Cemetery, Caldwell, Kansas.
Memorials may be given in memory of Porter to the First Presbyterian Church in Caldwell, Kansas or left in care of the mortuary.
